OCC Covid-19 Relief Needed

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost every aspect of life for many of us in numerous ways. Whether it is finding us in self-quarantine, being laid off from our jobs, or affecting our social lives, we at the OCC recognize that life has changed for each of us in some way.

The Oracle Community Center has not been immune to this national health emergency. We've been forced to close our doors for Monday lunches, to cancel the OAKS festival, to suspend hall rentals and classes for the last three months, and to cancel our major fundraisers. We find ourselves in a precarious situation as we face dangerously low funds and hard decisions on what we going to be able to provide in the future. We've been so focused on community outreach in things like the Oracle Family Emergency Fund that we now find ourselves in need to continue through this difficult time.

We plan on remaining open as long as possible with the money that we have, but we need your help to continue as our overhead costs continue to come in and demand monthly payment. We've done our best to reduce these costs, but we've been unable to get reduced rates from the utility company's and we can not turn off service so we continue to have to pay the monthly charges. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate your tax-deductible contribution to help us continue our mission. If you are unable to offer a donation, please continue to renew your membership as this helps us invest in the future of our community!
